Apartment Buildings in the Galleria and Uptown Houston
Uptown is the office and retail district built around Post Oak Boulevard, the 610 West Loop and The Galleria, roughly six miles west of downtown. This directory tracks 15 buildings of 50 or more units here — 4,217 apartments — twelve of them inside 77056 and the rest just west in 77057.
The towers line Post Oak Boulevard and San Felipe: Camden Post Oak at 33 floors, Hanover BLVD Place at 32, Dominion Post Oak at 31 and Hanover Post Oak nearby. Alexan 5151 on San Felipe is the largest address at 397 apartments, followed by Forum on San Felipe and Camden Post Oak. Behind the boulevard the stock changes completely: 1960s garden complexes such as Plantation Apartments and Galleria Flats sit on the same streets as the high-rises, which is why the year built column here spans 1960 to 2019.
Most of these addresses are within a mile of The Galleria, Uptown Park and BLVD Place, and the Uptown Boulevard dedicated bus lanes run the length of Post Oak. Walkability varies sharply between the boulevard blocks and the interior streets off Westheimer and Woodway.
Every listing below carries its street address, unit count, year built, floor count, leasing phone number and the property’s own website.
