Apartment Buildings in Midtown Houston
Midtown runs along the Main Street rail corridor between downtown and the Museum District, split between 77002 east of Bagby and 77006 to the west. This directory tracks 12 buildings of 50 or more units here — 4,095 apartments — in what is the most rail-served rental district in Houston outside downtown itself.
Two high-rises anchor the neighborhood: Luminary Residences at 30 floors, finished in 2020, and Drewery Place at 27. The rest is large-format mid-rise. MAA Midtown Square and Marquis Enclave each hold well over 600 apartments, making them the two biggest addresses in Midtown, and Camden McGowen Station sits directly on the METRORail Red Line at the McGowen stop. The oldest buildings in the category, Hadley Midtown and Metro Midtown, date from the late 1990s; nothing here was built before 1997.
Almost every address is within a few blocks of a Red Line stop, and Midtown Park, Elizabeth Baldwin Park and the restaurant strip along Bagby and Main are all inside the neighborhood. Downtown, the Museum District and the Texas Medical Center are each a short ride up or down the same rail line.
Every listing below carries its street address, unit count, year built, floor count, leasing phone number and the property’s own website.
