South Millbend Drive in Grogan’s Mill, the first village developed in The Woodlands, is the setting for The Woodlands Lodge, a gated three-story community built in 2011 to LEED green building certification. Francis Property Management operates it. Five floor plans cover one to three bedrooms from under 700 to about 1,450 square feet, finished with hardwood-style flooring, granite counters, crown molding and island kitchens; fireplaces appear in select homes.
