Apartment Buildings in EaDo and Houston’s East End
East Downtown and the East End run from the far side of US-59 out along Navigation, Harrisburg and Telephone Road, taking in the Second Ward, Eastwood and Magnolia Park. This directory tracks 14 buildings of 50 or more units across them — 3,372 apartments — and it is the newest-skewing part of Houston on this site: 11 of the 14 were finished in 2015 or later.
The building type here is the low-rise. Warehouse-district lofts, five-story podiums and courtyard mid-rises dominate, and nothing stands taller than the seven-story Mill Residences on Navigation Boulevard. Recent additions include CO/OP EaDo on Leeland (2025), The Pointe at Bayou Bend on Middle Street (2026) and Harrisburg Lofts, while Circuit on Capitol and Canal Street Flats date from the first wave of EaDo conversion a decade earlier. The largest single property is Gateway on Cullen with 531 apartments.
Older stock survives further east: Country Club Place on Villa de Matel Road, built in 1972 near Eastwood, and Arise Magnolia Park on Sherman Street. Much of the western half is walkable to the METRORail Green and Purple lines, Shell Energy Stadium and the east edge of downtown; the Avenue J and Sherman Street addresses sit closer to the Ship Channel industry.
Every listing below carries its street address, unit count, year built, floor count, leasing phone number and the property’s own website.
