Smith Street at the Midtown and Montrose boundary is where you find The Hopkins Midtown, the 154-home building that leased as Pearl Midtown before Asset Living took over management and rebranded it. It is the smallest property in this Midtown set, and the plan list is correspondingly granular: 21 layouts from roughly 500-square-foot studios up to two-bedrooms near 1,440 square feet, with hardwood flooring, custom tile backsplashes, garden tubs and balconies facing the skyline.
Amenities are scaled to the building rather than the marketing, and include a resort-style pool with cabanas and an outdoor kitchen wired for TV and WiFi, a 24-hour fitness center, a resident cafe outfitted with Apple computers, a gated entrance with parking garage, EV chargers and door-to-door trash pickup.
The 77006 ZIP and the Smith Street address put the building on Midtown’s western edge, close enough to Montrose that listing sites file it under both neighborhoods. That is useful if you want Midtown rail access and Montrose restaurants without committing to either. The Red Line on Main is a longer walk from here than from the Main Street buildings, but the Bagby and Gray bar strip is close, and US-59/I-69 and the Spur 527 connection into Downtown are a short drive.
