Smallest of the med center properties in this set, Ridge Point is an early-1980s community of one- and two-bedroom apartments on Westridge just off Kirby, inside the 610 Loop in the Braeswood area, managed by The Tipton Group. Units have been updated with granite counters and tile backsplashes, while keeping period detail that dates the building — wood-burning fireplaces, hardwood floors and private balconies or patios.

Amenities are modest by Texas Medical Center standards: a pool, a picnic area with barbecue grills, an on-site laundry facility and a pet-friendly policy. There is no garage, no concierge and no rooftop, and the rents reflect that.

Linkwood and Westwood Parks are the nearest green space, NRG Stadium and the Houston Zoo are short drives, and METRORail is within reach for the trip into the med center itself.
