Six stories on Weslayan Street, Alexan River Oaks was developed by Trammell Crow Residential and opened in 2020 with one- and two-bedroom plans between roughly 620 and 1,420 square feet. It stands on the Greenway/Upper Kirby side of the River Oaks label, along a stretch of Weslayan that has drawn several newer mid-rises.

The amenity set is indoor-heavy for Houston: a clubroom with a bar, coffee station and full commercial kitchen, a theater room with lounge seating and presentation equipment, a yoga studio running on-demand classes, a business center and a 24-hour fitness center. Outdoors there is a resort-style pool with a tanning ledge, cabanas, grills and televisions, plus a bark park and pet grooming.

US 59 is the main access point, which makes Greenway Plaza a very short trip and keeps Downtown, the Galleria and the Texas Medical Center all within realistic driving range.
