Montrose at Buffalo Bayou

Oakdale Communities completed Montrose at Buffalo Bayou in October 2021 at Montrose Boulevard and West Clay, the northern end of Montrose where the neighborhood runs into Allen Parkway and the bayou. The eight-story podium building stacks three levels of parking at grade beneath the residential floors, with 335 spaces.

Twenty-nine distinct floor plans cover efficiencies, one- and two-bedroom apartments and townhome layouts, a wider spread than the building’s size would suggest. The pool sits on the fourth level beside a cyber cafe and residents’ room, and the building also has a fitness center, two courtyards, a rooftop terrace, a conference room and private resident offices for people working from home. What distinguishes this corner is Buffalo Bayou Park, whose trails begin a few blocks north and run west toward Shepherd and east toward Downtown. Downtown itself is a short drive along Allen Parkway, and the Montrose restaurant corridor is south down the boulevard.
