Hanover Montrose is a high-rise the Hanover Company developed and still operates, standing on Montrose Boulevard with retail space at street level. It is one of only a handful of towers on this stretch of the boulevard, so upper floors look out over the low-rise bungalow grid that makes up most of Montrose.
The amenity list is built for a tower: a roof terrace with skyline views, a resort-style pool deck with cabanas, a 24-hour fitness center with spin bikes and a ballet barre, a media room, a climate-controlled wine vault, pet washing stations, and concierge and valet service. Apartments run studio through two bedrooms with floor-to-ceiling windows, hardwood floors and quartz kitchens.
Walkability is why most renters look here, and the address scores in the nineties for it. The University of St. Thomas campus is about half a mile away, Buffalo Bayou Park lies north along Montrose Boulevard, and the Museum District institutions anchor the boulevard’s southern end. Downtown and the Texas Medical Center are both reachable without a freeway.
