SoDo on Main (formerly SkyHouse Houston)

SoDo on Main is a single rental community made up of two towers on Main Street at the southern edge of Downtown Houston: the South Tower at 1725 Main, with 338 apartments, and the North Tower at 1625 Main, with 336. Both opened in 2014 and 2015 as SkyHouse Main and SkyHouse Houston, and Greystar merged them under one name in late 2021. They now share one leasing office, one phone number and one website, which is why this directory lists them as one property of 674 units rather than two.

Both towers are 24 storeys of concrete high-rise construction sitting directly on the METRORail Red Line. Each has its own rooftop amenity deck — pool, fitness floor and sky lounge on the top level rather than the ground floor — with structured parking below. Floor plans run from studios to two-bedrooms, and the corner units on the upper floors carry skyline views north over the central business district.

The location is the point. The Main Street rail line puts the rest of Downtown a few minutes north and the Museum District and Texas Medical Center a short ride south, and Midtown’s bars and restaurants along Main, Bagby and Gray start a block or two away.
