Block 334 takes its name from its downtown block and is one of the few Houston apartment buildings with structured parking below grade: two basement levels beneath five stories of apartments, which is why it presents a solid street wall on Main rather than a podium garage. Fairfield Residential manages the property.
Interiors are specified above the mid-rise norm, with ten-foot ceilings, hardwood-style flooring, granite counters and walk-in showers, and upper units get skyline views. Shared spaces include a resort-style pool set in a large courtyard, a fitness center with interactive equipment and a social lounge with a full kitchen.
The Main Street address puts the METRORail line at the door and Toyota Center within a few blocks, with the rest of Downtown Houston’s offices to the north and Midtown’s restaurants to the south. For renters who want a Main Street corridor location without high-rise elevator waits, it lands in a useful middle ground.
